Allowing special char for custom fields

Re: Allowing special char for custom fields
I understand the developer’s motivations for prohibiting special characters, but there is a use case that I can think of, with respect to CSV format (not XML, which I understand it breaks).According to Google conventions, you can dynamically set the name of the field, varying the presence and absence of sub-attributes and their order (Reference: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324484?hl=en#zippy=%2Caustralia-and-the-united-states)
shipping(country:postal_code:price:min_handling_time:max_handling_time:
min_transit_time:max_transit_time)shipping(country:postal_code:price)
etc.
However, I am not able to do this because your plugin form blocks the parentheses, underscore and colon.
