Allowing editors to edit sidebars/widgets

I have multiple blogs and need to allow editors to edit sidebars and widgets. I already checked the role manager plugin, and it doesn’t assign that option. How can I allow editors to edit the sidebar?

Even if I have to hack wordpress itself, that’s fine. Where do I start?
