Allowing comments on some old posts

  • In the Comments setting I have selected to disallow comments on posts older than 240 days.
    But there are some old posts where comments would be welcome, and I would like to allow them.
    I don’t want to to re-allow all comments and disallow individually (to many). Is there a way?

  • Never tested but manually set the post to allow posts when you edit the post. You might need to enabled Discussion setting under Screen Options on top right to see it.

    Should have also said that I do have enabled in particular posts to allow commenting. Apparently the General Comments option prevails
