I have a field with the type “WYSIWYG Visual Editor” (TinyMCE). It has allowed HTML tags of: p em a ul ol li b i hr br

The only tag that seems to work is “<p>” and others such as “<hr>” will just be displayed as is. Even the “<p>” doesn’t work normally as if you don’t have it on the first paragraph the line spacing gets weird.

Anyway, what can I do to get “<hr>”, “<b>” etc working? This is on WP 6.2.2 (and before) and PODS v2.9.13

On another field with the same properties, even “p” doesn’t work although The html that got copied in works.

To see if the POD changes only apply to newly created pods of that type I created a new item and it also didn’t work there( I also tried using “</p>”).:

    <p>Hi there ? <p>2nd para

The “a” tag doesn’t work here either BUT I can paste in links. It seems like pasting in HTML works but typing it doesn’t.

OK so it seems that the documentation could say what allowed html tags actually does, it is not allowing me to enter them manually as expected, I assume it is only meant to strip html from things I paste in? This is a general comment on all PODS help.

The first field does support “p” because I added some magic code ages back. You have provided no way to enter paragraphs UNLESS you have “autop” ticked which I don’t as it stuffs up formatting.
