• Hello, is there a way to allow or whitelist a user-agent? I use Siteguru for SEO as an SEO tool, and it returns many 403 errors for internal links while these links return a 200 when I run an status check with another tool. It’s fixed when I deactivate WordFence, so it looks like it’s the rate limiting causing this.

SiteGuru uses the user agent SiteGuruCrawler which I would like to whitelist, but I can’t find an option for that.

    Thanks
    JP

    Hi @jpnl,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.  There isn’t an option to whitelist by a specific user agent. User agents can be spoofed very easily and it is therefore never secure to allowlist a user agent.  Please send us a screenshot of the expanded information for the SiteGuruCrawler IP block found at Wordfence > Tools > Live Traffic.  You can expand the activity details by clicking the View icon or selecting Expand All Results at the top of the page.

If you would prefer to send this privately, you can do so by emailing us the screenshots at wftest @ wordfence . com.  Please add your forum username to the subject of the email and respond here after you have sent it.

    Thanks,
    Margaret

Thank you for your reply. I mixed up plugins, it wasn’t WordFence but CleanTalk that blocked the scan. Sorry for that.

Hi i have the same issue here, wordfence keep on blocking my zapier connection! What to do to let it move to allow list??? Please advise…
