allow Vaultpress access for backup

    I am trying to use the Valutpress service (https://vaultpress.com/ – part of WordPress Jetpack) as a backup system for my site. The backup process is failing: the vaultpress support people tell me: “It appears the backup process is stalling when attempting to examine and back up the plugin at /s2member-files”
    How can I tweak the s2member settings (or the .htaccess protecting the directory s2member-files) so that vaultpress can complete and restore a full backup of https://75.103.93.116/

    BackWPup failed on me – hung up at some point in the zip creation. I did get VaultPress set up today after adding to the .htaccess in /s2member-files a couple allow from: for their specific servers.

    Good to hear about VaultPress. I haven’t tried it.

    I did try BackWPup a while ago, and wasn’t impressed, so I’m not surprised to hear that you switched.
