    Hi

In last update, version 1.6, there is the option to Allow users to opt-out (great option).
I can see the option and check box in back end but I don’t see this option on front end.
Is there any way to have it on front end with a short code ?
Is there any way to have it in Woocommerce dashboard, details of account for example under the password field ?

    Thanks

    Regards

    Johan

    Hi Johan,

What are you using to show a registration form on your frontend? Is this the WooCommerce registration form for new customers?

We can take a look at adding support for that, if that’s what you’re using.

Let us know please. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Danny

Yes I am using mainly Woocommerce.
Customer registration is ot check out, a check box checked by default to register to the Newsletter displays with your plugin MailChimp for WordPress.
When customer had ordered, the only way he can register or unregister to Newsletter is when he receives Newsletter.
I expected to have this option in “My account” on frontend and was looking for such option for a long time without having found it.

If you can add support for this option on different “Integrations” (as well as buddypress…. But Woocommerce most important), that would defintely be a great option

    Thanks

    Regards

    Hi Johan,

I second your suggestion. I was going through the FAQs and knowledge base for this.

    Thanks & regards

Would it be possible to have on the checkout page a box for customers to tick if they want to receive newsletters?
This because from the 25th May 2018 customers must choose if they want to opt in or not. It will be illegal to opt them in automatically for newsletters.
And at the moment they are automatically opted in, right?

We already have an integration with Woocommerce checkout page, or any other custom form as well, via MailChimp for WP plugin, no need for usersync.
    https://kb.mc4wp.com/subscribe-mailchimp-woocommerce-checkout/

We’ve also added a checkbox to the user profile for Usersync.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!
