• How would I go about doing this? I don’t want the users of my buddypress to use the WP Dashboard at all, but want them to be able to set up events on the events page.

    Has anyone managed to do this? Thanks in advance.

  • Please try EM 4.14 which will allow you to submit events located the EM settings (at the bottom) its in beta right now but working great

    Could you give me a little more guidance on how to do that?

    It looks as though I already had 4.14 installed. I see where I can assign the Submit Event permission to each user type, but that doesn’t allow them to create the event on the front-end. They are still forced to go to the Dashboard, which is what I want to avoid.

    Thanks for the help!

    at the bottom there’s instructions for anonymous event submissions (in beta) which also works for members.

    Thanks, that definitely takes care of that. Do you know if you’ll be updating it to allow for members to schedule events without having to use the anonymous feature?

    Also, is there a way to set which day I’d like my calendars to start? I’ve searched everywhere I could find but haven’t seen where that would be, if it is possible.

    Thanks!

    @calendar start

    if you are talking about the week it should start, you can try changing it thru Settings > General > Week Starts On

    It’s very good, but, how can I put an tinymce or similar editor?? I’m using a plugin for create routes in Goodle Maps and I need this editor to insert the route ??

    do you mean integrating Other plugin to EM?

    No, I’m talking about the weeks of the calendar starting on Sunday instead of Monday.

    Both the date picker and the calendar start each week with Monday and I haven’t found anywhere to make the change to Sunday.

    Would I have to alter the source code?

    no you can modify the WP starting week in Settings > General in the admin page.

    i don’t think this affects the datepicker, that’s a standard jQuery datepicker

    Ah, I got it. I thought you were talking about the General Settings of the Events Manager plugin, but just realized you were talking about in the WP Settings. That took care of it! Sorry for the confusion. Thanks a bunch!

    @marcus

    Actually, changing it in the WP settings did in fact change the date picker for the plugin!

    Angelonwl: not, not a new plugin. I only say that if its possible to put a tinymce menu to put de details with format.

    Thanks.

    @fredy666

    not atm

    ok
