    On retina displays, the unit value menu is super tiny, and in general it would be better not to have to select from the menus so often. It would be really great to be able to type “1em”!

    Also, line height needs the option to specify a unitless value, like “1.5”.

    Unitless entry would also allow calc() values.

    Although, I suppose calc would probably be more appropriate for the Custom CSS box.

    That input component is same as provided and used by Gutenberg editor itself. I would not be changing it to what you suggest. It will not be much easier for non-techies and the general WP user IMO.

    Fair enough! Just looked, and it’s too small even on a normal display; that component breaks WP’s own guidelines with font-size: 8px LOL
