• Quick question:

Is there any way to set up a 2.8 blog, perhaps to only be read by members, that gives them a big, fat button that deletes any post on it that they don’t like?

Sounds a bit batty, I know, but I could use that functionality. Really. Would WP ever let me do it?

    Thanks,
    Luke

  • but why delete such posts? If they dont like any post, they simply can leave that. Giving access to your posts (and giving them right to delete them) is not a good idea…

I knew this question would draw such responses…

It’s a members-only blog where hundreds of posts are sent in per hour. (!) They are just tiny little snippets, no one put any thought into them, kind of like a bulletin board.

Since it’s not in anyone’s interest to delete a post that isn’t spammy, this would give the community an instant spam button.

    Thanks in advance,
    Luke
