Allow purchase product only if 3 other products purchased

    Hi!

    We have a new product we want to be purchasable only if the customers purchases 3 other products from as specific category.

    We already have a rule to allow those products to be bought in groups of 3 from the same category.

    Do you know any plugin or is it better to make a custom development?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I actually haven’t found a plugin that will allow you to restrict a product until X number of items are purchased from another product category first. There is, however, a free plugin out there that will allow you to restrict a product purchase based on whether or not another product has been purchased:

    I’m wondering if you could use this to create a rule that requires any item from the other product category to be purchased first before unlocking this product. It would be a bit more tedious listing out each product in your rule as opposed to just using a category, but it might be worth checking out!
