Allow post author to set access to own post?

  • On my site, all registered users are members of a UAM group ‘All users’. I use this to restrict access to certain content to members – fine.

    Sometimes, it is desirable that certain posts are visible to members only. Ticking the All users box in the Access panel achieves that.

    But I have discovered that this box is not shown to authors. (I thought it was once but it does not show now.) I would like authors to be able to choose to limit their own post to members only on a post-by-post basis.

    Can SKS enlighten me about what settings to adjust – if this can be done.
