Hi there,

i made my first theme and i have the following problem:
It seems that my theme does not allow js from any plugin and i am not quite sure how to enable that.

The exact situation:
I wanted to use a Lightbox Plugin, it didnt work with my theme (but with others) so i contacted the support and they told me, that my theme would not allow javascript from any plugin. I can’t really find the difference when comparing my theme to downloaded ones, so i ahve to ask here. I use wp_enqueue_script for the scripts my theme needs.

Edit: what i dont understand is, why does that work for other plugins? Obviously there are some plugin scripts in the <head>

Currently your theme is loading JS from the ‘wp-photo-album-plus’ plugin, so I’m not sure what the developers meant by the theme not allowing JavaScript from any plugin.

Hm yes thats what i just edited in my reply above.

Well the post is quite unspectacular: Here

I sent my theme to them and the reply was:
Dear user the problem is in your theme. The theme is made so that it doesn’t accept any js files from any plugins.
You should change your theme or contact them for solution.

I also have the same problem with other Lightbox plugins btw

Well what ever the author meant, it has been lost in translation somewhere because the issue is not that your theme won’t accept JS from plugins.

Do you have a page on your website with the ‘Lightbox’ plugin active for me to debug?

For example on this page any of the bottom pictures should work. It does with other themes.

Try putting the ‘wp_footer’ function just above your ‘</body>’ tag and see what happens:
