Allow placeholder text in input boxes

I would like to be able to insert placeholder text into text input boxes (or any input areas for that matter) to improve the user experience in Visual Form Builder. Eg.<input type="text" name="fname" <strong>placeholder</strong>="First name">(See: https://dev.intimateguitarsuites.com/artists/artist-contract at end of page).

Currently I have dummy text, but can’t style it separately from the input text. Suggestions?
