Allow Non-Admins to Use this Tool?

Good afternoon,

Currently this is not possible, the plugin checks if the user can “manage_options”.

Maybe we can use the capabilty “create_users”.

Are you using this capability in your new role?

I am using this capability in a membership database for an international karate school organization. Each school has a Chief Instructor who is responsible for registering their students. They would like to import the data themselves so I created Power User accounts for them to do this and will be using your plug-in for them to import.

I was able to find a “dirty” work-around based on this post in a related topic: . So basically, I modified the “manage_options” to “edit_pages” to allow the Power Users I created with the “edit_pages” capability in their roles to access this plug-in. I haven’t run into any issues yet so you can close this thread. Thank you again!

Ok, that’s perfect. Anyway I will change the capability from “manage_options” to “create_users” because this is better in this case.
