Hi there, I want to make the column titles of my event table more descriptive and would like to add two lines of text each.

With an older version of this plugin I was able to do so by writing <br> within the title. I even could use other tags, I had used <small> … </small> to insert a smaller line of text which looked really nice.

However when I try this now, the HTML tags will not be rendered but instead written on the screen. Is there a way to make this working again or another way to edit the column titles more freely?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello there!

I sure get what you’re trying to complete, but I would like to inform you that I just double-checked three previous versions of the plugin as 2.4.7, 2.4.6, and 2.4.5 – HTML tags do not render in column titles there. So may I ask you if you are sure that it has worked before? And if yes, which version of the plugin was that? Thank you.

Hello @eugenewhite sorry for not replying for a while. At first I had no idea how to find out which version that was. But I can tell you that it worked at least until 2019, probably still too in 2020 and maybe in 2021. (We did not have another conference since then so I did not notice!)

I tried to find out using web.archive.org until when the table was fine with my HTML codes but unfortunately it’s not included there. I noticed that the codes still are usable on single event page like here:
    https://cannabizz.pl/timetable/day/cannabis-in-politics/
But not with the table like here:

    Hello there!

Sorry for my delayed response too.

I would like to inform you that I wasn’t able to check the provided URLs. I see that you decided to “close the show for an uncertain time”.

So let me know when these pages can be checked or contact us through our support platform so we can take a closer look at the issue and understand how you managed to use HTML tags in the first place. Thank you!

“How” was very simple: In event editor or with Quick Edit, I set the name/title of the event, like “Eventname” to something like

    Eventname<br><small>Subtitle</small>

I admit it’s kind of a hack but this works in many places in WordPress, e.g. with post and page titles.

    Hello there!

Well, this solution may work on your event pages where you have their titles and may have sub-titles.

But HTML tags do not render on a timetable itself. And I don’t remember it has worked in any of the previous versions of the plugin, to be honest. Perhaps there was some custom solution applied.
