I’m looking to create a website where users can purchase our prebuilt video templates. After a successful checkout, they would be assigned a customer account. Upon logging in, they should have the option to upload photos on their dashboard. As the admin, we would collect these images and incorporate them into the user’s purchased video template, delivering the final video to the user.

How can I develop this type of website using the WordPress with Woocommerce plugin? Need assistance mainly in the “Customer Image Upload part”. Please guide.

    Thanks

  • Hey there, @fifthshield! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

To allow your customers to upload images you will need to use another plugin that works together with WooCommerce.

We recommend checking All in One Files Upload for WooCommerce, which is a plugin from our marketplace, so we can assist you with it if you need it. You can also test it with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you want to check other options, you can search on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

Please note that we do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.

I hope this was clarifying. If you face any issues or have any questions, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi @carolm29,

I want to add “File Upload” option on Customers’s dashboard when the product has been purchased and a customer account has been created. Don’t want users to upload images or any file during the ordering process as it will add complexity in making the purchase. So, please confirm if the suggested plugin can perform this task.

    Hi @fifthshield,

The All in One Files Upload for WooCommerce plugin that my colleague suggested doesn’t let customers upload files post-purchase. In fact, most plugins that offer file uploading features don’t support post-order uploads either.

If you need your customers to have the option to upload files from their dashboard after making a purchase, perhaps on the order details page, you may need to consider custom development. In this case, you can seek help from the following:

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.
