Allow customers to create team and invite team members

I am organizing a charity golf tournament.
I would like patrons to be able to create teams and list the email addresses of the team members.
I would like an email to be sent to notify all the team members.
Each team member could then go to the site and pay for tickets for whoever on the team they want to.
Ideally, the site would show the team members who has already been paid for.

So far, I have set up WooCommerce to sell tickets using Paypal checkout.
Ideally, the team/member tracking system would integrate with Paypal checkout.

Any suggestions?
