Allow co-authors to edit comments on their post?

This is slightly outside the scope of this plugin, but I can hope!

I’d like to give co-authors the ability to edit comments for the posts they’re set as co-authors on. If a non-administrator user with edit_posts capability created the post, that user can edit any comments on that post, but any co-authors, even those with identical user privileges, can’t do the same.

Are there any hooks/filters that might apply here, in relation to this plugin?
