    Hi,

I’ve set up my website to allow user-submitted events. I’d like any event submitter to be able to access their own event in order to edit it so that we don’t overload any ‘moderators’.

I know I can probably allow someone into the back-end of WordPress if I force them to become a user, but is there a way of pushing them to the front-end ‘form’ user interface to edit their own event? It is much more user-friendly with drop down select boxes and date selectors etc.

    Thanks for your time,

    Kim

Sorry, I just managed to answer my own question. For anyone looking…

Add a new blank page with title along the lines of ‘Edit your events’

Go to Events Manager > Settings > Pages > Other Pages

Select your new page from the drop down next to ‘Edit events page’.

Now this page shows events that the logged in user has submitted, and takes them to the front-end form to edit – so anyone who has any sort of account with the site can edit/delete/copy their own events.
