Allocating Users Their Own Public Pages

  • Looking to allocate our users their own pages, where they can post their blogs/images/etc

  • have you lookied into WP3.0 at all? Its not official yet, its at RC2 now, should be out soon

    But WP3.0 with multi site capability would give each user their own blog.

    Barring that, you can create a page for each user, and use a member plugin like role scoper to give each user access to their page only

    I have just scanned WP3.0. If this does what you are implying then it may well be the CMS that I will use for all our projects[been trialling Joomla, which whilst terrific, is a bit too complex to handle for me and not as intuitive as WP2.x].

    What I am looking to do is develop a site which runs like personal pages CMS’s eg myspace, facebook et al.but in a more admin controlled fashion.

    This serves for that purpose?
