I did all my reviews on my website with the elementor widgets

When I updated Site Reviews from 7.0.16 : all my reviews do not appear anymore !

The site reviews elementor widgets have disappeared because I use Elementor 3.5.6 and I do not want to upgrade Elementor because it causes troubles to my website

So I tryed to roll back Site Reviews to Site Reviews 7.0.6 but it’s the same thing : all my reviews have disappear and there are no more the elementor widgets for site reviews

How can I be able to make appear again all the past reviews and the elementor widgets for site reviews ?

    Thank you for your help

Is it possible to come back to site review v 6.11.8 using WP Rollback ?

Or is there a way that the site reviews widgets appear in elementor using Elementor 3.5.6 Site Reviews 7.0.16?

Right now all the reviews that I did using Site Reviews do not appear anymore on my website.

Do you still see your reviews on the Site Reviews > All Reviews page in the admin?

Are there any warnings or errors in the Site Reviews > Tools > Console?

Yes, I still see all the reviews in the “All reviews” from Site Reviews (1225 reviews)

I have these 2 warnigs in the Tools / Console because I tried to desactivate and activate back the plugin Site Reviews

Are the Site Reviews widgets missing in your Elementor?

What happens when you add a new Latest Reviews widget to the page without changing any of the widget options?

And what happens if you add the shortcode instead?

    This one:

Ah, I see the problem now.

Site Reviews v7 requires Elementor v3.19.0 or later in order for the integration to work because it uses widget features only available in that or later versions of Elementor.

You need to update Elementor to the latest version. If you don’t want to update Elementor then you will need to use the shortcodes on your page instead of the Elementor widgets. Please see the Site Reviews > Help & Support > Shortcodes page to learn how to use the shortcode options.

    Thank you for your answer.

So, right now I do not want to update Elementor because it causes problems.

Most important to me would be that the reviews that do appear anymore on my website are back on line on my website.

Is it safe to rollback to site review v 6.11.8 using WP Rollback ?

    Thank you for your help

I don’t recommend rolling back to v6 as v7 contains some security fixes missing in earlier versions. But yes, WP Rollback should work if you don’t see v6 in the included rollback tool on the Site Reviews Tools page.

Also your reviews are not missing, what is happening is that the Elementor widgets are missing because they require an updated version of Elementor to work.

I really suggest switching to the shortcodes and keeping Site Reviews updated if you are unable to keep Elementor up to date.

Ok, thank you so much for your help and your time.

Is there somewhere a video tutorial for the shortcodes ?

I use The Site Review Plugin so that our readers can only choose a star rate to review movies (mainly)

    With the shortcode [site_reviews_form]

How can I disable the following fields : title of the review, the text of the review, the name, the email, the allow/disallow button ?

And finally how can I have a direct icons star rate for my users instead of having to choose the star rate with a text dropdown menu ?

All this was very easy to settle with your elementor widgets. And I don’t find where I can settle all this with the shortcodes.

    Thank you for your help

I found this very useful video to understand how shortcodes work and I apply that to my website and it works like a charm.

So now I will use your shortcodes with the last update of your plugin and I will stop using elementor widgets.

Thank you so much for your time.

I just have one last question :

I did the integration with SEO Press for your agregate rating schema

When I review a movie, I put in my SEO Press schema :

    “name”: “Petit Vampire”

Site Reviews is doing the agregate rating schema but instead of using the name I give in my SEO Press Schema “Petit Vampire”, Site Reviews is using the title of a photo I use in this post. In this case :

Petit Vampire – Bande-annonce du dessin animé de Joann Sfar

Is it important for Google or Bing to understand the agregate rating schema that the name of the review and the name of the agregate rating schema are the same ?

And if it’s important, how can I solve this problem ?

    Thank you for your help
