All users blocked if one is blocked ?

    Hello
    I installed LLA Reloaded
    I have several users in my WP conf
    I wrongly logged 4 times, by providing on purpose wrong pwd
    My user was then blocked for 20 min. Great !
    But I couldn’t log with any user in this meantime, not even with admin login …
    Is it normal ? Or did I do sthing wrong ?

    This plugin block the IP so you will not be able to log in until the block is over. You could try and change your ip through restarting your modem and see if it acquires a new IP and log in when you have a new IP.

    I understand now. As I am in a test phase, I created several users myself, and tested from the same IP various scenarios. That’s why after testing “one user blocked”, I could no more log any other users because all other users come from same IP.

    Hello guys,

    We have uploaded a new version of the plugin.

    The plugin doesn’t trust any IP addresses other than _SERVER[“REMOTE_ADDR”] anymore. Trusting other IP origins make protection useless b/c they can be easily faked. This new version provides a way of secure IP unlocking for those sites that use a reverse proxy coupled with misconfigurated servers that populate _SERVER[“REMOTE_ADDR”] with wrong IPs which leads to mass blocking of users.

    Please try it out.
