All urls giving 404 except main

    So I have created this website using wordpres.org swpamyvan.com and all of a sudden all of the pages except the main page, are giving 404 error. There is absolutely not any plug in or theme update involved, also I have redone the menu in case that could help and nothing is working. Also called the hosting provider Ionos and they say they have no idea. So I really don′t know what to do or what could be the problem. Would really appreciate any help.

  • For me, no pages exist at all under the domain – not even a WordPress installation. If there is one, I would recommend you to contact the support of your hoster. Maybe there is something wrong with their system.

    Hi @threadi thanks for your answer. So what is happening is that my host provider updated the wordpress version to 6.1 from 6.0.3 and there is something incompatible that Is making all of my pages except the main one give 404 error. (What happened before when you said no page existed is that I was trying to migrate the server with the host, so that I can have wordpress 6.0.3., by they are not been able to migrate my site.

    So I would really really appreciate if anyhone have any info on what could be causing this incompatibility with wordpress 6.1, I am totally out of ideas, already checked plugins, I am on a basic 2021 wordpresss theme… I just don′t now…

    Meanwhile, I can access the home page, but no subpage at all. I would recommend you to deactivate all plugins as a test. If it works then, one of the plugins is responsible for it.

    Thank you very much. Very weirdly, the second time I did it, one of the plugins seemed to be causing the problem. Don′t know why it didn′t fix the issue at first time and also, when I reactivate the plugin to confirm it was this, the error kept not appearing. So apparently it was deactivating and activating it again what fixed it. Thank you!
