    After this latest update, I seem to have lost all functionality with my plugin. Saved slides always request I create a new slideshow, imported slideshows display blank, even imported templates display blank. The current slideshow is displaying correctly on the front end of the website, however, trying to edit the slideshow the plugin requests I build a new one and start over.

    Not really sure what to do at this point.

  • Me too, I’m having the same problem.

    I am also having the same problem.

    When I click on “Create Slider” the very first time, I am getting a brief flash of an error message pointing to “undefined Slider templates”. That’s when the screen goes to black and nothing happens. I can’t make the error message display each time (I have to clear the cache or, sometimes, restart the server), but it’s there.

    Are you using a wordpress localhost dev environment?

    @primenerd yes i am

    this seems to be a problem on localhost environments at the moment… hopefully it will be fixed soon…

    Getting the same issue on production site. Strange thing its working in front but slider is empty in admin.

    Is there any way to recover it ?

    Thanks

    Based on the comments, I loaded the plugin in two local environments and had failures in both to create sliders. However, if I load it in a production environment, it seems to work correctly. Thanks to @primenerd for the comments.

    @primenerd what do you mean by localhost? Mine is on a production server, but the database is pointing to localhost.

    The even weirder thing. There is another partition on that server running a site that’s in development and that site is running Depicter and it’s working fine.

    The newest update (1.1.9) seems to have fixed my issue.

    @chrisbotkins In my case, I’m running development in Local v. 6.4.2+6012. I have separate Elementor and Blocksy environments, and both fail to load at the start (black screen when I choose “Create Slider”). Even updating to v. 1.1.9 doesn’t solve the problem.

    In my production environment (PHP 7.4, WordPress 6.01, MySQL 10.5), it loads so that the templates can be seen, but I’m getting the following (repeating) error:

    load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,farbtastic,moxiejs,plupload&ver=6.0.1:5 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2
    vendors-main.js?ver=1661785811:2 react-i18next:: You will need to pass in an i18next instance by using initReactI18next
    y @ vendors-main.js?ver=1661785811:2
    /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()

    By localhost i mean a local wordpress development environment like Laragon, Local, Bitnami etc… it flashes up an error like “undefined templates” sometimes and then nothing comes up it’s blank… the update didn’t help either… very frustrating..

    The recent update seems to have fixed this, please update if you have not already.

    Hi All,
    sorry for the delay. We were busy fixing this and adding some new things in our update.
    Please try to update it and then it should be fixed.

    Let us know

    I’ve updated the plugin to v. 1.2.0 in my development (Local v. 6.4.2+6022) and attempted to create a new slider. Here is the error message I’m receiving:

    #RequestException:60
    SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

    {"errno":60,"error":"SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate","appconnect_time":0,"url":"https://pre.wp-api.depicter.com/v1/curated/document/templates/categories?category=custom","content_type":null,"http_code":0,"header_size":0,"request_size":0,"filetime":-1,"ssl_verify_result":20,"redirect_count":0,"total_time":0.182724,"namelookup_time":0.036987,"connect_time":0.107415,"pretransfer_time":0,"size_upload":0,"size_download":0,"speed_download":0,"speed_upload":0,"download_content_length":-1,"upload_content_length":-1,"starttransfer_time":0,"redirect_time":0,"redirect_url":"","primary_ip":"5.161.142.33","certinfo":[],"primary_port":443,"local_ip":"192.168.86.33","local_port":51113,"http_version":0,"protocol":2,"ssl_verifyresult":0,"scheme":"HTTPS","appconnect_time_us":0,"connect_time_us":107415,"namelookup_time_us":36987,"pretransfer_time_us":0,"redirect_time_us":0,"starttransfer_time_us":0,"total_time_us":182724,"curl_version":"7.67.0"}

    I updated my production to v. 1.2.0 as well. I can see the templates that are available, but for each template I import, continue to receive the following error message (that repeats):

    Error Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403() in the console, and “Error Request failed with status code 403” as a popup in the editor.

    It looks like it can’t access/find the admin-ajax.php or vendors-main.js files

    I just updated the plugin to v. 1.3.1 in my production environment. I am still receiving “Error Request failed with status code 403” as a popup in the editor. In looking at the background console, the server still can’t access/find the admin-ajax.php or vendors-main.js files. I also am unable to publish any slides or changes to slides.

    If I turn off WordFence, then I can edit and publish slides. However, if I add the shortcode to a page, the page refuses to publish. I’m not “seeing” any errors in the console view of the page, I’m not just getting any page generation. That applies whether WordFence is on or off.
