When I add the two products I am shipping with this usps live rate calculation it is showing all the packaging options during check out (envelopes, padded mailers, bubble mailers, flat rate boxes, etc). The products I am shipping are quite big and will only fit in much, much larger boxes. My products have the product dimensions and weight listed on them so I don’t know why it isn’t automatically excluding the shipping options that don’t apply.

  • Hi @agritecint thanks for contacting us.
You can easily change it. Just go to your USPS shipping method and check the box “Enable the services’ custom settings”. Ticking this checkbox will allow you to manage which USPS services should be available for your customers to choose from. If the checkbox is not selected all the services will be available by default. You may also change their names here and set the order of how they are displayed in the cart and checkout.
I strongly recommend you our documentation where you can find necessary information concerning managing the plugin and how to use it. It can be very helpful. You can find it here – https://docs.flexibleshipping.com/article/1105-usps-live-rates-shipping-method-configuration.

If you have more questions let us know.

I have a similar problem that all package options are shown. I ticked the box for ‘services Enable the services’ custom settings’ but nothing happens. I’m not presented with any tables or drop down menus to configure. Any Ideas?

Hi @keith0064, I would kindly ask you to send the screenshot of your USPS shipping method and USPS settings (blur your USPS User ID).

    Best regards,
    Karolina

Here are the shipping method and USPS settings.

    Thanks,

    Keith

Dear @keith0064, please send screenshots once again. No picture is visible.

Thanks @keith0064 for screenshots. I would kindly ask you to check your console when you have open tab with the USPS shipping method. Please send us a screenshot with the information from the console.

Not sure what you are asking? I have already shown you the screen shot with the “Enable the services’ custom settings” ticked. BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. The documentation states:
Please mind that the Services Table may be divided into two sections – Domestic Services Table and International Services Table depending on the way how the shipping zone was configured.

Where are these Services tabs? How do I get to them??

    Dear @keith0064
If you are using the Chrome browser, you need to go to the shipping method, click the right button on the mouse and choose “Inspect” and then check the “Console” tab, refresh the page and click the checkbox. Please see how to do this: https://appuals.com/open-browser-console/

If you notice something disturbing, please send us the screenshots, it will help us to resolve the issue faster.

Ok- it said 1 issue. Here’s what I’ve got:

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks @keith0064!
Ok, I see that you don’t have there any errors.

We have to eliminate one more potential reason, which is plugin conflict. Please turn off all the other plugins, beside WooCommerce and USPS. Check if you get the table with USPS services when you have only those plugins activated. If the list with USPS services is shown, then you need to activate your other plugins one at the time and verify which one causes hiding the services.

However, if you don’t get the list with services even if other plugins are deactivated, then I would kindly ask you to contact us directly via our support form – https://octolize.com/support/ and add the link to this discussion in a ticket.

Ok disabled all plugins and it still doesn’t work so I disabled your plugin and downloaded USPS Simple Shipping for WooCommerce. I configured in under 2 minutes and it is working great. Good luck finding/fixing the errors.

    Thanks,

    Keith

@keith0064 would you be so kind and share with us your System status? We can’t recreate the issue that you have. So to troubleshoot it, we would more information. I am afraid that we might not find the reason without more information about your WordPress and WooCommerce environment.
