All registered Users not getting the added role

  • I noticed that all my registered users don’t have the added capability to post ads Only one does. Why is this and how do I fix it?

    Hello,
    Continuing with the issue, the users who are created as ‘customer’ can only have the privilege to add the post. These users (as customer) are created by the plugin itself. So, you have to create ‘customer’ via plugin and then you can add posts. Also, verify your existing users if they are customers as well.

    How do you create customer via plugin? I changed all my users to customer and they still don’t have the added role!

    Your users can register on your site via this page
    https://link-to-your-site/classified-register/

    Make sure that you have added this page on your nav menu and made necessary modification to the page.

    After your users register via this page, they can post the ads from this link https://link-to-your-site/classified-post-ad-2/ after they login to the site.

    That’s all well and good but how about the users that have signed up with the role customer and only one of them has the added role to post ads???

    We apologize but you query is quite not clear to us, can you please elaborate what your are stating exactly as when we test the plugin all the users with customer roles are able to post ads.

    I have 7 registered users all with the role customer but when I check their profiles only one has this on their page “Capabilities create_classifieds” no one else does. I don’t understand why this happening

    The issue you are explaining is quite strange and is not occurring for us.
    On the user profile classified only provides the customer role.
    No capabilities is provided by the plugin.

    Can you please register a new user and test if the user can post ads just for testing purpose?
    Also, We are sure that all the users with role Customer will be able to post ads regardless of their capabilities.
