• Hey,

I recently installed a theme called Solon and fiddled with the colours in it to suit my existing colour scheme then when I realised to make use of the slider and featured content features I had to pay (which I can not afford right now) I switched back to my original theme (Pruple Pro).
However now all my posts have disappeared! They are still in the dashboard and I can modify them, create new ones and everything as normal but as soon as I click on the link on the main page I get error 404 – website not found. If I click on the submenu category options as it has always been set up I get the same message.
I use my blog to share help sheets with my clients so desperately need it back up and running. Any ideas? I have not installed or modified anything but the CSS sheet in the Solon theme which I am no longer using.
    Blog is – https://www.RedRite.co.uk/Blog
If I try to go to say – https://redrite.co.uk/blog/category/articles/ however I get error 404.

  • Since switching back to Purple Pro have you flushed the permalinks? Just visiting the page Settings / Permalinks will flush them.

Changing themes often requires a reset of the permalinks to see posts that exist but aren’t showing on the front end.

    Hey,

Yes I have. I have even double checked the URLs. I get no input file specified on my mobile when I try to look on there.

I have double checked the Web address and Site address URLs as well as theme-functions.php and .htaccess files to make sure everything is as it should be.
