All posts are missing when logged in, but visible when logged out

  • As I logged in to my wordpress installation today my heart skipped a beat seeing that all my posts were gone, and the front page says: Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.

    When I log out all the posts are visible. The database seems fine and all the posts are there when I browse it in phpmyadmin.

    I have not upgraded plugins or changed any settings recently.

    Any thoughts? I am bewildered.

  • well, can’t log in to your site, so can’t test the issue.

    Have you tried all the generic checks? Its the same for nearly any problem.

    Deactivate all plugins and test your site.
    Switch to default theme and test your site.
