as a work-around, i have manually added an “event” tag to upcoming events, and excluded those from wpt, but all previous events are still included in the main blog loop.

what is needed is the ability to exclude post types as well as tags & categories.

    Hi,

Disabling custom post type support, selecting which custom post types to include in your mobile theme, and choosing to show the custom post types in the main blog loops are WPtouch Pro-only options.

However, if you’d added tags to those post types, you can exclude categories and tags in WPtouch free and Pro in the Customizer in Appearance > Customize > Blog > Excluded tags.

while i can appreciate why u would reserve custom post type support to the paying version, i don’t think u should b displaying feedback, which may contain sensitive info, especially since it is _not_ displayed in the main blog loop.

i have added tags to my events, and excluded them in the customizer, but they _still_ show up in the main loop, contrary to your assertion…u r starting to sound like a trumpist??

    please address this discrepancy, thanx

and another thing: wptouch somehow bypasses Smart404 plugin: desktop users get redirected to matches, but wpt sends them to the default 404 page:-\
