All post title links yielding “Not Found” errors

    Problem fixed – please disregard. I checked and found out I had /index.php set for “Category base” under Permalinks. Removing it resolved the problem.

    Should “Category base” normally be left blank?

    the only time you add the index.php, as I understand it, is when you your host has turned off mod_rewrite

    otherwise, the category base is if you want a custom lead in, /thebomb/2006/post-title/
