all post links go to newest post???

  • We have a site in development that has started doing something weird.
    https://americancowgirl.com/blog/

    when you click on the title of a post, it goes to a page and displays the most recent posting. You can visit any page on the blog, click the title and it displays the same posting. The URL changes but it’s always the same page.

    What’s going on?

  • permalinks? try re-saving your permalinks

    I think there is a bug in the their theme. I switched the site to the default theme and it worked fine.

    can anyone think of a reason why it might be working this way?

    so i gutted the theme’s index.php and put the default theme’s index.php in it’s place. that helped.
