After recently upgrading to 2.9.1 and uploading my plugin list to ‘Plugin Central’ and and installing my approx. 90 plugins – now the images representing the plugins do NOT render and are replaced with exactly the same animated replacement.

Anyone else experience this and/or have any ideas other than uninstalling each and every plugin and then reinstalling one-at-a-time to see which one is the culprit.

They worked in 2.9 and the beauty of Plugin Central is TIME SAVING which then becomes lost due to conflicting plugins.

A great test that WordPress should require is all plugin scripts be uploaded into a sandbox that runs a database of all plugins and tests compatibility before hundreds if not thousands are annoyed with conflicting plugins that corrupt one’s WordPress installation

OK – the culprit was WP-Events Calendar plugin. Once the WP-Events Calendar plugin was deactivated the images problem disappeared.
