All pages in theme have blank left margin-want to edit/add info

  • I want to add things to the left margin of my firm’s website but I can’t figure it out.

    The website is:
    https://mayalaw.com

    Every page has the large empty left margin. Adding things like firm photos, text, logos, would be great. Thanks for any help

  • You will probably need to start customising your theme’s CSS – possibly via a child theme or a custom CSS plugin. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

    I just downloaded and installed the plugin, it has a lot of great features but you’ll have to forgive me if I don’t know how to use most of them.

    Any input on what I should edit in the CSS now that I have installed Firebug?

    What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?
