    I unselected noindex and nofollow for all pages in the general settings. my robots.txt file allows all. I’ve logged in and out. no change.
    Do I need to uninstall and reinstall?
    In order to correct the problem must I buy first?

    Thanks,
    Sally

    Check the source code of your pages to see if the changes took effect.

    I did. even used a different browser. still seeing
    <meta name=’robots’ content=’noindex,nofollow’ />

    I don’t have a problem paying for the plugin because I plan to use on more than one site. BUT, I shouldn’t need to pay to remove the link, right?

    I deactivated jetpack which seems to conflict and slows down the site. That did not resolve the problem.
    I will try resetting to defaults before uninstalling and reinstalling.

    That’s correct. Jetpack conflicts with our plugin. Glad to hear you were able to figure it out (and of course you don’t need to pay for that).
