• I am in the process of building this site for my company and am running across some problems.

I have created main pages as well as sub pages with the parent option used in the attributes section.

In my original theme I downloaded, this seemed to be working fine. With the new theme I am using, which is much better suited, all my pages seem to be crowding onto the main menu. I can’t figure out why it is doing this and have tried adding and editing pages to see if that makes a difference, and am still running into the same problem.

I’ve downloaded WP CSS Dropdown Menu 3.0.8 and JS add-on in attempt to help fix this as I need a drop down in any case. I am still unable to fix the problem.

Here is the site as it stands currently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Your current theme’s navigation menu is not designed to hold that many pages & child pages (24 in all). You might just fit the 9 top lebel pages onto that menu but even that would be pushing it given the size of some of your page menu titles.

Personally, I think you’d be far better off using a theme with a vertical navigation menu.

Thank you for your feedback. Is there a way to expand the navigation menu so it isn’t fixed? (Sorry, I’m somewhat new to this). I would like sub pages (or child pages as you mention) to be accessible via a dropdown menu, which is why I downloaded the WP CSS Dropdown Menu plugin. Would that not help the case?
