All of my videos stopped working, popup opens, rotating circle

    Hi and first of all,

    thank you for a tool that helped us greatly for some years! As a school, we need to serve videos and your plugin really made a difference!

    Since a few days, the popup is opening, the title of the video is being displayed, a loading circle rotates but nothing starts playing – on our entire site.

    It does not happen on every machine, but on many, we have students calling in about this which never happened before. This is bad.

    Can you help me on how to fix this, please?

    Hi,

    Do you have a cache plugin running in your site or server? Has anything changed in your site since this issue started to happen?

    I am sorry for getting back to you this late! Yes, we are using WPSuperCache, but even if I disable it, the problem persists.

    What makes my problem even worse is that this does not seem to happen on every browser or machine. It works on my iPhone and Chrome as well, but I am experiencing problems with Firefox.

    Since we have a lot of prospects visiting our website, this really is a problem! I would be grateful if you could help me!

    Hi,

    This looks like a cache issue to me. What happens if you also clear the browser cache? There must be a way for you exclude our plugin from WPSuperCache.

    Are you using firefox? Since version 89 firefox block all cross-site cookies and this prevents videos from playing. I had the same issue and allowing cross site cookies fixed it.

    Would it be possible to add to the plugin to use of youtube links with nocookie domain: https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/
