    Hi there,

Woo Commerce has been running smoothly up until yesterday, now all of a sudden when I try to access my WordPress plugin dashboard it hangs and then it throws a 504 error Gateway time out error.

I then restored from a backup thinking that maybe an update caused the issue but when I restored from a previous date the same problem occurred.

Here is the weird thing, I can still make purchases and view orders, but I just can’t view my list of plugins in my WordPress dashboard.

I have SiteGround hosting and I have already contacted them this morning before I found out it was the WooCommerce plugin that was causing my site to crash.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?

    Thanks

    Naomi

    Hi @naomibuch!

That particular error would indicate that something may be wrong at the server level. Usually, it happens when the server is too busy, but can also be when there is maintenance carried out on the server in question.

Does it happen only when accessing the “Plugins” page specifically, or does it happen for any page you try and access?

You also mention that you found the issue to come directly from the WooCommerce core plugin, is that correct?

Could you please send us your sites’ status report so we can take a closer look t your environment? You’ll find the status report under “WooCommerce > Status” page.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to me, I figured the problem out, it was a plugin that I was using that had a WooCommerce file and I disabled that file and now I can view my plugin dashboard again.

    Thanks,

    Naomi
