• This topic is similar, or rather related, to the one here. But I also wanted to ask for healthy answers.

I have 3 systems with the same domain name and I’m trying to synchronize membership between them. But I also want to set notifications. Like e-mail notifications, if subscribed to the blog/store/forum, I would like to be notified of new articles, products, and topics, and to be notified when replies are received, and to show them in a drop-down menu on the portal. I want the pushes I send from OneSignal to be added to these. There are also Jetpack notifications.

    Am I want too much?

  • You mean you want all the information about things going on the 3 websites to go to you as the administrator? It depends on what kind of notifications it is about. A lot of it sounds to me like it would be sent via email. So you should configure all plugins and settings to get those via email. Since there is no single system for this, you have to configure it individually.

No. What I want to do is pass it on to the members on a panel. For example, a new topic has been opened in an area that a member follows in the forum; their orders have been shipped; replied to your comment in an article…

Are you trying to show Facebook-style alerts like those shown here?

If you want to aggregate alerts/notifications from different software and services (even different instances of the same software) and display them in a single user panel, you’ll have to build such a panel yourself (or hire someone to do it for you).

You’re not going to find a plugin or any off-the-shelf solution that will build such a custom user panel for you.

Sending notifications by email is a whole lot easier because your phpBB forum, WordPress/Woocommerce store and WordPress blog can all send such email notifications to users and admins already (either a built-in feature or plugins exist).

Yeah. similar. i have to deal with it myself and get support for external notifications from these softwares. I know it’s possible for phpBB. But there is no such or any notification system for WordPress. Maybe I should get support from Jatpack. However, although they only provide support for technical malfunctions, they can sometimes guide. Thank you so much.
