All new post to gallery

  • Hi all,

    Im having fun with wordpress again, got some nice ideas but i face some problems. I guess for the professionals this is an easy fix, for me.. Im using google for 3 days now and wont get it working.

    I want to have a beauty/fashion blog that fetch content via RSS (lets say Tumblr). No problems till here, feedwordpress does the job fine and fetch all the information i want.

    The thing that wont work for me is getting all those post as a tiled gallery. I used Jetpack, WP-Tiles, but for some reasons it wont work and it just keep showing the posts as it normally does. When i create a gallery on the jetpack way, it works fine.

    So how im i going to show 1 static page, that fetch RSS, and post as gallery on the 1 static page the blog will be using.

    I did some research, it seems that jetpack use this shortcode to show the gallery on my page.

    [gallery type="rectangular" columns="4" link="file" ids="40,41,42,43,44,45,29,23,22,21,20,19,18,16,17,15,13,14,12,11,10,8,9,7" orderby="rand"]

    FeedWordpress does also save into the media gallery, can i make something that “When gallery is updated, add gallery numbers to the page” ?

    to

    [gallery type="rectangular" columns="4" link="file" ids="all" orderby="rand"]

    Now grabs random pictures from my library, but only show 5 pictures on page.
