• I noticed all my links on a “page” open in a new tab while I can’t see it in the html editor of that page.

Looks like there is a setting in one of the main files that determine all links on pages open in a new tab. This is not a problem for “posts” and only happens with “pages”.

Is there an option to disable wordrpess from opening all these links in new tabs?

See here an example page: https://www.geckoroutes.com/vietnam/

    thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Check if the anchor text <a> has this attribute target="_blank", if it’s there, you need to delete it, then it will solve your trouble.

Thanks for your reply, but that’s what I meant with not finding it back in the html editor.

This is something that happens consistently on every “page” I create. No trace of it in the edit mode of that particular page.

I just visited the link given and clicked a couple links in the menu… seems fine to me. Try a couple different machines/browsers.

Never talked about the menu. The problem is only with links on the pages.

So for example on of the destinations from the gallery or a link like “Hanoi to Halong Bay”.
