All my links are suddenly messed up

    A reader of mine informed me that she was not able to comment on a blog post this week, so I checked it out. Looks like any link I click on, including to comment, all fall onto the main page all of the sudden. My browser shows the correct url, but the homepage still shows up. Anyone able to help help me fix this? I didn’t change anything and now my site isn’t functioning properly.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then set a custom permalink structure back up again.

    Thank you esmi! Tried it all and turned out to be resolved from switching my permalinks to default. Your help is really appreciated, thank you!!!
