All my Facebook Shares/Likes have dissappeared

That’s indeed a known issue, caused by some changes in Facebook’s API. You can find out more here:

My Facebook counts are showing only with the official button. Will the update fix it so that icons/icon+text/text only will work too? Thank you

Hey Jeremy, thanks for the update. It’s still not showing up on my posts. The most shared one, for example, isn’t showing any.. I cleared my cache. Is there anything else I can do?

I have a similare problem. The counts are there, but I had a share button and a like button for FB. After updating today the FB like button has become a “share-button”.

all facebook likes “are belong to us” (i.e. gone)

In my case it seems as if a few days back the like count went to zero and then started to add the new ones. I will try to see if the number is preserved with another plugin.

@danielle Green It seems that you’ve managed to track the issue down to a permalink structure change:

I would suggest that you go to Settings > Permalinks to make sure your settings are correct there.

You can also review the different plugins you’ve installed, including SEO plugins and redirection management plugins, to make sure none of them is removing the slash for you.
