All menu items created come in as custom links only

  • Hi All,

    i have a very odd issue which we have never seen before on any wordpress site. When we add new items to the menu in the admin section regardless of type they are all just created as an empty custom link? e.g. if i select a page, add it to the menu, it shows as an empty custom link, same goes for posts or any other type?

    Any ideas how to fix this?
