‘All Maps’ sorting

The ‘All Maps’ list in admin sorts in ascending order of map id by default. That’s the opposite of what would be useful to me; I’d like the most recent maps at the top. With more than 100 maps on this site, and growing weekly, it’s becoming a problem.
It appears that the the ‘ID’, ‘Title’, and ‘Create Date’ column headers are supposed to sort the list, but they do not (although there is a ‘loading’ message that appears briefly when attempting to do so).
How can I set the sort in ‘All Maps’ to descending order? Can you give us some controls over how we view this list?
