• Dear @tkama,

Just recently, I encountered a phenomenon, which did never happen before (and I use your plugin a lot).

When a user removes his vote to prepare a re-vote, all other logs of a poll are deleted as well!

May be, it could be an incompatibility with the latest WP update?

I did mot change anything. It just appeared.

    Kind regards

    Michael

    Dear @tkama,

as this issue happened when testing (simulating) user responses with different devices partially in the same WLAN environment:

Could this eventually happen when different voting users have the same IP-address (which was the case)?

Does your plugin probably not strictly go by user-ID but by other means and could even cookies play their role in this context (as voters may not necessarily have a user-ID)?

It would be nice if you could provide me/us with a little insight into the mechanics to better understand the behavior.

    Thanks a lot in advance!!

    Kindest regards

    Michael

    … or in other words:
what I would suggest is: if registered users did vote, the IP-address should not matter, even if identical – and the deletion of one voter with ID should not delete other registered user‘s votes, even with the same IP-address.

But maybe, I am wrong :).

    Kind regards
