All Links Give Blank Pages

  • Hi there –
    I have a client that I have set up MyBookTable for and he loves it. We are running into a bit of a problem though…Every link that is clicked on on the created book pages goes to a blank page. I have attempted to turn off permalinks and make sure that I have filled out the adding books correctly but I only get a white page. Could you please have a look and let me know?

    Also is there anyway to edit the look of the buttons? My client would also prefer to just see the word Kindle for a link instead of having they word Buy next to it.

    You should be able to fix this by deactivating and reactivating the plugin. If not, refresh the permalinks.

    Thank you for the reply Thomas. That unfortunately did not work. I tried deactivating and reactivating as well as refreshing the permalinks. Any other suggestions would be most helpful.

    It may be a plugin conflict. Try deactivating all the plugins and then activate just MBT. If it works then, you know one of the plugins is to blame. Activate one at a time till the problem re-appears.

    BCS,

    I suspect this is an issue with your theme. Does the problem persist when you use one of the default WordPress themes? You can quickly switch back and forth under appearance -> themes.

    This is called the White Screen of Death and it typically comes from a bug in the PHP code of the theme. Often an extra space at the very end of one of the PHP pages. This is the only reported instance of this in MyBookTable which leads me to believe it is a theme issue.
