    I just logged in to my dashboard and looked at my courses that I was enrolled in for admin testing and noticed I couldn’t view any lessons.

    So I went into the admin panel and see that somehow ALL of my courses’ lessons were deleted. This is ridiculous, why would this happen? It took literally hours to organize them all. What could have happened and how can I fix it aside from redoing everything? Super angry right now.

  • Deleted only from courses or from WordPress?

    If lessons are still in WordPress (Courses > Lessons), probably Your LifterLMS was updated to v 3.3.0 and maybe You must update LifterLMS’s database also.

    In this case You need wp-cron to be triggered.

    @faye78,

    LifterLMS 3.3.0 includes a mandatory database upgrade which modifies the relationship between lessons and their parents. I a lot of folks are saying “Courses are deleted” but really we deleted your lessons only!

    I’m kidding, we didn’t delete a thing but apparently a ton of servers are having issues with our background upgrader that relies on WP_CRON.

    Can you please take a look at our troubleshooting guide at: https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-database-updates/#cron-issues

    Also, if you’re looking at a database upgrade notice and you haven’t clicked it yet maybe click it! I’ve resolved a few dozen tickets because users didn’t click the button!

    Hope that helps,

    We too are having this problem. We get the message that the database needs to be updated to the latest version and we clicked the button. It just sits their with the completion percentage on zero no matter how long you wait. I looked at your troubleshooting guide and your instructions for updating the database manually say: “On the WordPress admin panel navigate to Tools -> Scheduled Actions”. I don’t see any Scheduled Actions” links anywhere in my admin tools including under the tools. All the lessons we assigned just disappeared one day. Lucky for us it’s not a live course yet and we are working on content. We would like to stay on LifterLms if it can be resolved. It’s a great product.

    @tgordner,

    To check your scheduled actions you *MUST* enable WP_DEBUG (step one here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-database-updates/#force-run)

    Hope that helps,
