• Hi, I’ve tried removing all plugins and even using the default theme, but i’m still getting the error “Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘}'” for all my js files.

This is happening also in wp-admin side. All js files are affected, it starts with load-script.

I’ve also tried reinstalling WordPress using the updater, but it didn’t work.

Any idea how to fix this?

    Hi there,

I’m wondering if that may be cache related? Does it also happen if you use a private window or incognito window?

Weird. When was the last time this was working fine, do you recall?

Are you okay with having to upload core using something like FileZilla? I have a feeling you may need to re-install manually is the reason I ask.

Can’t tell the latest but the last time I logged in and it was fine was in December 2020.
I’ll give reuploading the core through FTP a try. Is there documentation on it? I assume it would be everything except everything under wp-content?
