    Hello,

A few times a week, I get a locked out error because someone used a wrong password too many times / too many password resets. The problem is that all users are then banned as WordFence registers each IP as the server’s IP and the hostname as the server’s hostname (I’m running an Ubuntu VPS with VestaCP / Apache / Nginx and a dedicated IP). At first I thought of this as a server problem but Piwik can see IP’s just fine so it’s either a WordPress or WordFence problem.

How can I solve this issue?

Under Wordfence Options there is a setting called “How does Wordfence get IPs:” You can try different setting there.
